The Crayola product, gift card, information, and additional gift pack have been provided by Crayola. I love Christmas! It is my second favorite holiday after Halloween! It is so fun to decorate the house and do crafts with the kids. We do the paper chains, make snowman holiday pictures, ornaments and the standard holiday craft involving our handprints. It is so fun to look back at these to see how much everyone has grown. Jakobi and Mason really get into their art and I let them craft with free will, often resulting in a bunch of brown colored items. The kids just love mixing all the colors.
Jakobi is using the White Crayola Slick Stick to make a snowman on black paper.
When we craft, I prefer to use Crayola products, so I was thrilled when they sent us a boxful of items to test out. The box included the following items:
- Crayola Washable Markers – These are a must when you have preschool kids who love to craft on your walls, clothing and furniture.
- Crayola Colored Pencils – See above, plus it is great to teach alternate mediums to budding artists.
- Crayola Glitter Glue – My personal favorite always adds a little sparkle to your projects
- Crayola Model Magic – Make Christmas treasures to keep forever
- Crayola Slick Sticks – The coolest crayon around. These slick sticks glide so smoothly you will think you are painting.

The Family Hands Christmas Tree is fun to make and is an easy Christmas craft for kids to do. After it is completed, you can hang from the tree, a doorknob or on the wall to spread the holiday cheer.
Family Hands Christmas Tree Craft
Materials Needed
- Green foam board or construction paper in as many shades as you have members of your family.
- Crayola Washable Markers
- Crayola Slick Sticks
- White foam board or construction paper
- Crayola Glitter Glue
- Pipe cleaner
- Scissors
Instructions
- Trace each family member’s hand on their own color of green paper. This will make it easier to find out whose hands belong to who in later years. I like using the washable marker for this because I always get it on their hands. If I let Jakobi trace mine, he definitely gets it on mine! The Crayola washable markers come off easily with soap and water. It comes off the table easily too!
- Cut out circles for ornaments and a star for the top.

The Crayola Slick Sticks gave the ornaments a glossy shine.
- Have the kids color the ornaments with Crayola washable markers or Slick sticks.
- Arrange the hands to look like a Christmas tree
- Secure the hands together with glue (I used adhesive foam board so I did not use glue)
- Secure the star and ornaments.
- Trace the hands with the Crayola Glitter Glue in green
- Trace the ornaments with a variety of Crayola Glitter Glue colors.
- Punch a hole in the star and thread with a pipe cleaner to hang!
